What's Your Sign?

Ever wonder what your zodiac sign meant? Who your most compatible with? What the future hold for you? Lost of people wonder and few know. Luckily, we specialize in that kind of stuff and we're going to tell you all about it.

ARIES:(March 21- April 20)
Element: Fire
Ruler:Mars
Soul mate: Libra
Character: All is possible for you. You gets things started and you put your heart and soul into everything you do. But you don't have too much common sense. You're usually act before thinking and sometimes it may be too late =( You're very reckless and short sided. Not that much of a team leader but you're in it to win it. Our advice to you is ,when you get bored with a project, hand it over to someone else skilled in the practical application of your inspired idea, not forgetting (this is the difficult bit) to mention all those vital details without which the project will fail. Then you are free to start something else.

Global Warming

Today we shall talk about something to be concerned about. Earth, our home and what's happening. And so far, whats happening is global warming which is a bad thing. Global warming is greenhouse gases trap heat in earth causing it's temperature to rise higher than normal. If it becomes any hotter then sea levels will rise and homes will be lost and humans will be affected in a big way. In fact, it's us humans who are causing this even though we might not know. Greenhouse gases are gases in our atmosphere that hold heat. Without it earth would be too cold but too much is no good.

Global warming harms not only us but the things around us. The land which we grow our food out of and the animals which we share our home with. If the temperature on earth is too high glaciers will start melting, and they have, and the soil which we grow our food. Higher temperatures dry out soil, which have moisture needed for healthy crops. The Arctic ice cap is also melting and thats bad for us because the ice reflects most of the sunlight but if it melts then the ocean sea will absorb most of the heat and guess what, the ice will melt even faster. It's also bad for the polar bears and penguins. Polar bears travel from ice floe to ice floe to hunt seals but if the ice melts there will be less ice floes which mean more swimming and as a result many may be too exhausted and drown before reaching the next ice floe. Penguins are affected because their homes which is the ice is getting weaker and thinner. Less sea ice means fewer krill and weakened ice means the ice may break with a chick on it making it drown.

Yes, you guys probably know a lot of this stuff but it doesn't hurt to be reminded. I'll tell you guys something else, global warming increases our risk of getting diseases. Colder nights and colder winters makes the germs and viruses less threatening to human beings but when it's warmer bugs that carry diseases like fleas, mosquitoes, and ticks just to name a few come out. The West Nile virus had spread since 1999 when it came to the United States because of the the unusual heat and rain levels. It contributed to the swift spread of the mosquitoes that transmit the virus.

So in short, to save the world, our home walk! Go buy a bike and use that, take the train or bus instead of using the car so much.

PARTY OVA HERE!

Welcome back to our oh-so-fabulous BAM! Loretta and Kimani are your hostess's for the evening (morning, afternoon).

Today we're going to be telling you about Young Jinsu! We just saw a really awsome show with a new and awsome rapper who is only sixteen. He goes by the name of young Jinsu, a very unique name. How many of you people bought his CD? Kimani, here bought one and got his autograph. "I really can't wait to listen to it when I get home" said Kimani very excited=) Dacnarie commented that he was "mad cute." Kimani thought that he was "Sooo friggin cute." Hana thought he was just "Good Looking" what a loser.... KIDDING! Too bad he's 16 ladies. Oh, and don't forget to.....

1: Come to school everyday (unless you're dying XP)
2:Respect the teacher and staff.
3:RESPECT YOURSELF!
4:Get good grades

Make sure you do all these things so we can have Young Jinsu back to our school with his celebrity guest!

It was especially fun seeing the teachers and students dance. Ms. Shah was an "awesometasktical" dancer. As Dacnarie would say it. Props to the kids though, because the had some guts to get up there and show their talent. But most of all, who was shocked to see Mr.Kerson sing :O ?!?

I was...... *crickets,crickets*

Over all it was a really fun and great show. It was really cool break from a 'regular' school day. Plus we got to listen to some really great music!!

Adios amigos,
Loretta,Kimani,Dacnarie,Hana =)
