Field Trip Friday!

On Friday all of UNMS is going on trips while we get Smart Boards installed! The 8th graders are going to Prospect Park in Brooklyn to have a field day. Have fun. We'll miss your presence next year. Meanwhile the 7th grade is going to Central Park for a day of outside learning experiences and the 6th grade will be visiting the Bronx Zoo.

The 8th Grade Times

This Friday, the thing we've been waiting for is finally here. Field Day! I'm not sure why, but this yearly event has always been a personal favorite, especially considering the fact that I don't enjoy being sweaty Seriously though, all Friday we get to just be outside with our friends playing games and making fun of each other. This for us 8th graders is especially important because this is it. It's the last year we'll ever get to just have it like this. Everyone all close and happy. I know that I'm going to have a great time. Not just because of the reason I just said, but also because the week ahead is going to be insane. More test prep than I'd care to do and a science exam are on the way. No pressure they keep saying, but I can still feel it. Thankfully there's a good side. Field day on Friday, a trip to Boston, and my first official prom! the other time I went to a prom it wasn't from my school. Very strange. Oh and on Monday serious changes for two 8th grade classes. I believe that these last two months are going to be the best yet.

Student Vocies: Student lunches

Have you noticed anything new about the school lunches? To me they keep getting smaller and smaller and I want to hear what you think about it. Are the lunches getting smaller and if so why?
